THE MISSION

Our mission is to empower families with life-saving skills such as CPR, educational workshops, mentoring, and essential provisions for their infants and children. Stocked with clothing, baby gear, toiletries, formula, diapers, and much more, Ella's Closet is a comprehensive resource for families with children up to five years old.

EDUCATION

Ella's Closet offers a range of educational classes, workshops, and events designed to empower families with valuable training, knowledge, and tips for better childcare. Upon completion of a workshop, families are rewarded with the opportunity to "shop Ella's Closet," selecting items they need for their little ones.

COMMUNITY

Ella's Closet is dedicated to reaching young families and children, making a meaningful difference in their lives and those of their loved ones. By hosting and participating in events and activities across the community, Ella's Closet builds essential connections with families in need and other community partners.

MEET THE LADIES OF ELLA'S CLOSET...

DEBRA ALLEN

Debra Allen is the founder and administrator for Ella's Closet. When a friend whom she had met in the medical field during her time as a pediatric nurse lost her grand baby, Ella Pearl, in May 2015 she felt a calling to do something special for the family. Moved with a vision to allow the legacy of such a precious baby to continue to shine throughout the world, while also helping to provide the families of young children with life-saving skills such as CPR, educational workshops, mentoring, and basic provisions for their infants and children, Ella's Closet opened its doors in 2015 as a ministry of the Light House Cafe.

MARTHA LYNN WEEKS

Meet Martha Lynn, the inspiring Program Director of the Lighthouse Café Ministries in Belle Glade. With nearly three decades of dedicated service, Martha's remarkable journey is a testament to her unwavering passion for making a difference in the Glades community. Martha's connection with the café began when she came across an article in "The Sun" newspaper, shedding light on the café's expansion efforts. Deeply moved by the café's mission, Martha answered the call to serve and has since become a driving force behind its programs and initiatives. Her leadership and compassion continue to touch the lives of countless individuals, making her an invaluable asset to the Lighthouse Café family and our community.
