Ella's Closet offers educational classes, workshops, and events that provide valuable training, knowledge, and tips to better care for and benefit these families in caring for their young children. Upon the completion of a workshop, the family is rewarded with the opportunity to "shop Ella's Closet" and select the items they are in need of for their little one.
Ella's Closet is on a mission to reach young families and children to impact their lives and the lives of their family or friends. Through attending and hosting events and activities throughout the community, Ella's Closet is able to develop vital relationships with families in need, as well as other community partners.
Many of us have been blessed in our lives to where we may not truly understand the diversity of struggles that others may face. Whether a family needs provisions such as clothing, diapers, or formula, or to learn life skills such as healthy cooking; Ella's Closet is there to help.

MARTHA LYNN WEEKS
Martha Lynn is the coordinator for the Light House Café Ministries of Belle Glade. She has been involved with the Light House Café for over 17 years. She first learned about the café through an article in "The Sun" newspaper, which featured one of the founding members discussing the newly acquired location for the Light House Café. She says that at that moment, she knew that it was her calling to be a part of the mission of the Light House Café.
As a volunteer at the Light House Café Ministries of the Glades, Tandra Jones-Volcy, was instrumental in helping the patrons obtain food stamps, Medicaid/Medicare, housing, drug rehab placement, and Social Security benefits. Upon the opening of Ella’s Closet as a ministry within the Light House Café in 2015, Tandra began her calling as the manager and program coordinator of the program. Her role in leading the day-to-day functions, the scheduling of the workshops, classes, and events, the registering of the participants, and much more, is vital to the missions of Ella’s Closet.
Debra Allen is the founder and administrator for Ella's Closet. When a friend whom she had met in the medical field during her time as a pediatric nurse lost her grand baby, Ella Pearl, in May 2015 she felt a calling to do something special for the family. Moved with a vision to allow the legacy of such a precious baby to continue to shine throughout the world, while also helping to provide the families of young children with life-saving skills such as CPR, educational workshops, mentoring, and basic provisions for their infants and children, Ella's Closet opened its doors in 2015 as a ministry of the Light House Cafe.
